Terms & Conditions

Last updated 21 August 2026

1. Who these terms are with

These terms govern the tuition services provided by BARAKKA LLC, a Limited Liability Company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, registered office 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, trading as Barakka Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking a trial lesson or enrolling a student you accept these terms. If you are enrolling a child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms on the child’s behalf.

2. What we provide

3. Eligibility and minors

An adult student must be at least 18 years old. A student under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for payment and is our point of contact. Parents may attend any lesson.

4. Trial lessons

Every new student is offered two free 30-minute trial lessons. No payment details are collected for a trial, no charge arises from it, and nothing begins automatically when it ends. Enrolment starts only when you tell us to schedule paid lessons.

5. Scheduling, rescheduling and absence

6. Teachers

We assign a teacher competent in the subject enrolled for, matched to the student’s age, level, preferred language of explanation and preferred teacher gender. We may change the assigned teacher where necessary — for example illness or a change of availability — and will tell you before the next lesson. You may request a different teacher at any time, at no cost and without giving a reason.

7. Fees and payment

8. Refunds

Because we bill after delivery, there is normally nothing to refund. Payments taken in error are refunded in full. The complete position is set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at info@albarakka.online. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 5. Raising a chargeback without contacting us first delays resolution for everyone, because the provider freezes the amount while it investigates.

10. Your responsibilities

11. Intellectual property

Teaching materials, worksheets, recordings and other content we provide remain our property or that of their respective owners, and are licensed to you for the personal, non-commercial use of the enrolled student. They may not be redistributed, resold, published or used to teach others. No claim of ownership is made over the text of the Quran itself.

12. Recording of lessons

We do not record lessons unless a parent or adult student asks us to in writing. You may not record a lesson without the teacher’s prior consent.

13. Suspension and termination

Either side may end the arrangement at any time by written notice. On termination, you remain liable for lessons already delivered and we remain liable to deliver any lesson already paid for or to refund it.

14. Limitation of liability

We provide tuition with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the total fees paid by you in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

We are not liable for interruptions caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including internet or platform outages, power failures or natural events; in such cases the affected lesson is rescheduled or removed from the invoice.

15. Complaints

Write to info@albarakka.online. We acknowledge within 2 business days and give a written decision within 5 business days. If you are not satisfied, ask for the matter to be reviewed by a second, independent member of our team.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Before starting any formal proceedings, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for 30 days after written notice.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and enrolled students are notified by email of any material change.
