Yes. Female teachers teach women and girls, and male teachers teach men and boys. Tell us your preference before the trial lesson.
The teacher explains in the language the child is comfortable in — English, French, German, Italian or Spanish, subject to availability — and moves gradually towards Arabic as the student’s level rises.
Yes, at any time, at no cost, and without giving a reason.
Around five years old for most children. Below that, attention span rather than ability is usually the limit — talk to us and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth starting now or waiting.

A video call on a platform agreed with you — commonly Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video. The teacher shares the page being studied on screen. No special software purchase is needed.
Thirty minutes suits most young children and beginners. Sixty minutes is usually better for adults and memorisation students. You can switch at any time.
You do. Lessons are booked in your own time zone, and evening and weekend slots are available.
Tell the teacher at least 12 hours in advance and it is rescheduled free of charge. A lesson missed without notice counts as taught.
It is made up at a time that suits you, or removed from the month’s invoice — your choice.
Yes. Tell us the dates and we suspend the schedule. Since you are billed only for lessons taught, a pause simply means a smaller invoice.
The teacher records what was covered in each lesson and sends a summary of progress every month, including what to work on next.
Yes, on completion of a Juz’ or a defined stage of a programme. Certificates are issued by BARAKKA LLC on the basis of our own assessment and carry no external accreditation — we are not an accredited school and do not claim to be.
At the end of each month, for the lessons that were actually taught during that month. Never in advance, and never for a lesson that did not happen.
No. There is no minimum term, nothing renews automatically, and no payment method is stored.
Pounds sterling (GBP). If you pay from an account in another currency, your bank or payment provider applies its own conversion rate and any charges.

Because we bill after lessons are delivered there is normally nothing to refund. Payments taken in error — duplicates, unauthorised payments, or a lesson billed that was not taught — are refunded in full. See the Refund Policy.
